I Am Your Savior

Why do you love me?

Why do you care?

Why will you wait for me?

When I’m going nowhere.

You say that you love me

How do I know

A lost  little child

Knowing not where to go

I am your savior.

The light of your life

The beacon you see

In the darkness of night.

The one that will hold you

From heaven above.

I push you away

I hide from you

And hope you won’t stay

You say there’s no end

of the love that you give

with each day that I live
